Keeping your skin clean is essential to fight acne. In maintaining your skin hygiene, you must remember not to scrub your skin too hard. Scrubbing your skin too hard will make your skin too dry and irritated. Too moisture the skin, the skin cell will produce more oil and this oil will clog the skin pore in the process. Therefore, you must clean your skin gently using mild soap.
Shaving can help you exfoliate your dead skin cell. Therefore, doing it can help reducing the possibility of slogged pore. However, you must be careful in doing it if you have infected or sensitive skin.

To avoid acne, you must choose oil free and non-comedogenic cosmetic products. These products will likely clog your skin pore. Some of the comedogenic ingredients are lanolin, dimethicone, and oils. There is no evidence that shows diet can cause acne development. However, being on a healthy and balanced diet will help you to maintain the beauty of your skin. Eating vegetables and fruits which are high in vitamins and antioxidants will strengthen your immune system and help your skin get enough nutrition. In consequence, your skin will be able to fight inflammation due to acne and recover quickly.
