Admin

Acne on the face is annoying and embarrassing. Both men and women of all ages are affected by acne at least once in their lifetime. Unfortunately, some people must suffer from stubborn acne which keeps coming back even after getting acne treatment. Treating your acne properly is very important. That’s because acne can affect the skin surface and the deeper layer of the skin. If you do not treat it properly, it will leave marks which are difficult to remove. Once you get your skin treated for acne, you must do some prevention so that it doesn’t comeback on your face, back, neck, or chest. Here are three tips you can follow.

Apply the right method to keep your skin clean
To fight acne, it is important for you to keep your skin clean. There are various cleanser and body soap which you can use. However, dermatologist suggests you to choose mild cleanser. Mild cleanser will not irritate your sensitive skin and yet it can kill bacteria which cause acne. In cleaning your skin, you must do it gently to avoid irritation. Some people think that applying astringent to clean acne prone skin will solve the problem. However, you must remember to apply it only on very oily skin. After cleaning your skin, you must remember to apply non-comedogenic emollient.

Apply the right cosmetic
Women love to wear make-up. However, certain cosmetic such as face powder, moisturizer, and foundation can cause acne. Therefore, you must make sure that the make-up products you apply are non-comedogenic and oil free. You must also be careful in choosing hair care product. Many hair care product such as conditioner and leave-on conditioner contain comedogenic ingredients which can cause acne.

Stop touching your acne affected skin
To avoid scarring, you must not squeeze or pick your acne. It can be very tempting but you must be able to control yourself not to touch it. Touching your skin will also worsen your acne. Your hands are not as clean as you think. And the bacteria on your hands can cause more severe acne.
